The Consortium Featured on KFNN Radio Dr. Kevin Dooley Answers Questions about The Consortium’s Progress in 2012
ARIZONA, USA, – January 4th, 2013 – The Sustainability Consortium (TSC) is proud to have finished 2012 with completed knowledge products for over 100 product categories, expansion into China, the launch of the Clothing, Footwear, and Textiles Sector, the election of a new board of directors and being selected by Scientific American Magazine as one of the top 10 world changing idea for 2012. Dr. Kevin Dooley, Academic Director and Chief Research Officer for The Sustainability Consortium spoke with KFNN Radio in Arizona about this progress and where The Consortium is headed in the future.
“One of the things that The Consortium tries to do is create what we think of as a pre-competitive space. This is a space where companies who are even competitors with one and other, and their suppliers and retailers, and NGO’s, the non-profit advocacy groups that look at these types of things[working conditions in China] as well as academic researchers can come together and work on these things in a collective way.”
