Agrible brings an expertise around growers’ needs to help TSC develop better sustainability assessment tools that reflect growers’ sustainability practices.
Agrible joins a growing list of TSC members in the food, beverage and agriculture sector working to improve agricultural systems to be sustainable in the long-term in order to meet the global demand for food into the future, while also minimizing adverse impacts on the environment and society.
Euan Murray, TSC Chief Executive stated, “As TSC’s Ag sector continues to grow and emerge with innovative projects focusing on farm data and commodity sourcing, we are pleased to have Agrible involved as a member, further enriching the work of TSC.”
The Sustainability Consortium (TSC) is a global organization transforming the consumer goods industry to deliver more sustainable consumer products. TSC collaborates with more than 100 members from civil society, NGOs and corporations, such as Unilever, Campbell’s, P&G and Walmart.
“Agrible’s mission of achieving food chain sustainability by leveraging our science, our people and our relationships aligns with the mission of TSC. We are excited to collaborate and form this partnership,” says Cynthia Bruno, Chief Strategy Officer for Agrible. “Taking care of the world ultimately means taking care of the world’s growers. By creating easy-to use software that helps them uncover both immediate and long-term efficiencies in their operations, everyone wins. Growers save money and increase profitability, and the brands they work with can show consumers their ingredients are sustainably sourced.”
Agrible helps growers increase productivity, efficiency and sustainability through a unique mix of forecasts and cutting-edge technology. Using the industry’s best forecasts including weather forecasts, yield projections, nutrition estimates, and seed performance predictions, Agrible creates practical, pragmatic tools to help growers manage their operations.
