About
The solution to achieving sustainability in agriculture may very well lie just beneath our feet – in the soil. Healthy soils are not only critical to farmers’ livelihoods, they also provide other benefits that help to address common issues related to food production, including nutrient and water use efficiency, on-farm greenhouse gas emissions, and soil erosion. In this webinar, we will learn from soil health experts how the implementation of practices to promote soil health can also contribute to improved sustainability outcomes for nutrient management, greenhouse gas emissions, and water use at the farm level. We will also explore how collective action in agricultural supply chains helps to ensure positive results for farmers, food companies, retailers, and consumers alike.
