The Efficacy and Value Generated from Sustainable Cotton Initiatives in the United States
Authors: Christy Slay and Jessica Kosak
TSC’s Christy Slay, Teresa Garcia-Moore, and Jessica Kosak led efforts to evaluate the value of cotton sustainability initiatives in the U.S. in collaboration with Wake Forest University. In addition to evaluating initiatives the report captures the viewpoints of farmer, frameworks, and firms through interviews to evaluate the successes and challenges of sustainable cotton. The report was funded as part of the Supply Chain Sustainability Research Fund established by the Walmart Foundation and Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.
