Soil Health Institute’s 4th Annual Meeting

July 16, 2019 - July 18, 2019

Soil Health Institute Annual Meeting

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Annual Meetings

What topics are covered?

If you want to be up-to-date on where soil health research and policy are headed for 2020, the 4th Annual Meeting is a must-attend event. Soil health’s leading experts break into five high-functioning Action Teams: Research; Measurements, Standards, and Assessment; Policy; Economics; and Communications and Education. You’ll be directly involved in advancing soil health.

Most attendees have advanced degrees in soil science or a related discipline and discussion leans more technical than general.

Are there production breakout sessions?

The Soil Health Institute’s annual meeting isn’t designed to replace Agricultural Extension meetings, farm tours, commodity or soil conservation meetings. In the past, most producers who attended and said they valued the meeting content had graduate degrees in agriculture or a biological, chemical or physical science, or they have cooperated in on-farm research tests.

How do I get on the annual meeting email list?

All SHI information subscribers will receive updates regarding the annual meeting, convenient opportunities to register for the conference, and early-registration hotel room discounts. Please subscribe here.
